So much has happened since the last time I wrote on this blog, and like all my good intentions, I hope to get to it in a later post.
But wow, where has the time gone? I mean COVID aside, where has the last 11 years gone? I have a Junior and a Senior in high school! I am in my mid 40s and my body is doing all sorts of crazy things. Despite all my best efforts to be a “Supernom”, I have been anything, but. I work full-time now. Life is never easy, and I am yet again, about to embark on a new “side-gig business”
The last thing I want to do is embark on yet another chapter in life alone. So I decided, why not share the pain, the triumphs, and the mistakes with whoever is willing to read.
Won’t you join me as I begin this new adventure? This time it will not be cakes (yes, cakes became a “thing” for a while, then cheer bows, then t-shirts, I have a had a few businesses along the way). This time, we are making and selling cookies. The new venture will be called “Bauer Bites”.
How did we get here? How will we be able to balance work, family and a new venture? Honestly, I have no idea. I do NOT have the energy I once had, but I do have drive, and I have a desire to give my kids everything they need to follow their passions, so I will do whatever it takes to help them get there.
